In January 2016, we already knew what our next step was for treatment and it was a big one. One that we would have to work really hard for and that would bring so many life changes into our life. I called UFC to set up our IVF consult with Dr. Conway, it was scheduled for March 23, 2016.
Around the same time we scheduled our appointment we made a big decision to move out of our place, put our house hunting on hold again and move back home to my parents house to start saving some money for our treatment.
We spent the rest of January packing and into February we got super busy with both of us working full time and the businesses we worked for were moving into their busy season's so we were hardly ever home. We moved out the last weekend of February and got settled in back at my parents house.
On March 23, 2016 we met with Dr. Conway we discussed taking the next step into IVF. How it worked, what our chance's were, cost, and medications. She talked about how we would do the tradional IVF In-Viro Fertiliztion treatment along with ICSI Intracyoplasmic Sperm Injection.

We were told that when we decided on when we wanted to start treatment it would take about six weeks in all. We already got our blood drawn the next step is to see the IVF coordinator to get the calendar with all of our appointments, medications, and the full plan. Next I will do a water ultrasound called hysterosonogram http://www.ivf1.com/sonohysterogram/ to check the uterus. following that I'd start birth control pills to regulate my hormones before starting the IVF cycle its like getting all the eggs to line up and grow at the same pace. After that they will start the stimulation of the ovaries with injections over a time frame of 10-12 days with constant doctor visits to moniter my health and the growth of the follicles/eggs. They want to produce a lot of eggs with my age and my egg reserve from my pcos she is hopeing for 15 to 20 eggs once they get to the right size we will do a trigger shot to start ovulation. about 36-37 hours after the trigger we will go in for the egg retrieval where they will give me anesthesia and go in and retrieve the eggs. That same day Jeremy will give his sample for the ICSI after were done about hour I will go home and rest that same day they will insert the sperm into the eggs and let them grow and watch them over the next five days. On day five they will be at the embyro stage and they will transfer 1-2 back into my uterus like an IUI and I'll take two days to rest they call them Princess Days where you do absolutely nothing but rest. Then the two week wait begins on the last day of the two weeks they will give me a blood pregnancy test and we will see if the embryos stuck. If I become pregnant our doctor will watch me until my 9th week of pregnancy and then we will be off to an OBGYN.
Our clinic has a really good success rate about 65% chance of it taking. Our doctor is very optimistic that we will have success and we are very confident that we are in good hands we are at one of the best clinics in Utah and have seen with our own eyes their success.
