I'm Shalamar I'm the oldest of two, I was born to Delilah Delgado and George Benitez on July 30, 1986 in Salt lake City, Utah. I grew up mainly in West Jordan with my mom and my little brother Tyson. We moved a few time around the valley I attended multiple schools where I met and made a lot of different friends some of who I'm still in contact with today. I graduated from the old Valley High School in Sandy off of State in 2004. My husband describes me as a strong, loving, creative, bighearted person who would do anything, any time for anyone whether they be family, friends, or strangers.
I am the oldest grandchild out of all my cousins and recently became the last to have children for as long as I can remember I've always only ever wanted to be a wife and mother. In school when they would ask what do you want to be when you grow up I was like a MOM. I've always been told "Shalamar your going to be an amazing mom" or "your so great with kids your kids are going to be so lucky to have you as a mom". I don't have any children yet, I've never been pregnant. When I was 16 I was diagnosed with PCOS Polycystic ovary syndrome this has caused me difficulty in conceiving a child of my own. I became a step-parent February 19, 2010 to two wonderful kids (3&4 at the time). Who I cared for and loved like my own for which I've been incredibly thankful for. I've also had the opportunity to be apart of some of my amazing cousins kids lives since they were babies. I love all these children with my whole heart and I would give anything for anyone of them. But they all have their own mommy's and daddy's and I'm am so envious of their parents cause they get to have these loves all to themselves. I hope that one day all the love I have for them I can share with my own child.
