along with the bromocriptine and synthroid
I started Provera a female hormone it has several uses but for me it was used to restore my normal period since my body sometimes skips which I took for daily for 10 days and after that I would start 3-7 days.
as well as a prenatal multivitamin with DHA, 1000 mg fish oil omega 3
Jeremy was just put on tons of vitamins to support his health and sperm quality. Men's multivitamin, 2000 mg fish oil, 800 I.U. vitamin E, 1000 mg vitamin C, and 600 mg CoQ10 for sperm quality
on Cycle day one I contacted UFC they scheduled a 3 day baseline ultrasound to check the lining of the uterus and if there was any cyst. On the same day I received a prescription for .25mg of Femera and would receive a call from Freedom Fertility Pharmacy with a perception for the HCG trigger shot. I'd start taking the Femera on cycle days 3-7 one pill a day once a day. On cycle day 13 I would go back for another ultrasound to check for any mature follicles on the ovaries (good follicles range 17-20 mm) mine was a little small but would grow more in just a day or so to be mature. On cycle day 14 I did the HCG tigger shot (which is just a hormone that your body makes on its own to start ovulation which my body doesn't produce enough of) http://www.drugs.com/hcg.html
24-48 hours after the shot we went in for our first IUI through UFC in Pleasant Grove, Utah
http://americanpregnancy.org/infertility/intrauterine-insemination/
the link above explains the procedure
after the procedure you go about your regular activities the night after the IUI I started progesterone inserts (progesterone's role is thickening the lining of the uterus so it can prepare to receive and nourish a fertilized egg). I continued that until further notice from my doctor. Two weeks after IUI I went in for a blood pregnancy test. It came back negative then I was instructed to stop the progesterone.
Even though the first IUI didn't work we kept up hope and try'd again the next cycle. 3/4/15
March 27, 2015 cycle # 2
On the second round of IUI everything was the same as the first baseline CD 3, femera CD's 5-9 but when I went in for my CD 12 ultrasound my body wasn't responding to the .25 mg of femera there was no follicles. so she upped the dosage during the same cycle for a couple more days CD's 13-17 to .75mg I responded I had one follicle during that ultrasound so we proceed with the trigger shot and then the IUI. Same routine 2 weeks later test came back Negative 4/10/15
Cycle #3 April 2015
The cycle started normal baseline CD 3, Start femera .75mg CD's 3-7, had the follicle ultrasound CD 12 no follicles again not responding to meds started .75mg femera and now a steriod called dexamethasone to help stimulate the ovaries took that on CD's 12-16 then a follicle ultrasound on CD 17 still didn't respond to any medication. Our hearts were broken we thought that it was over and we were so scared to hear what or if there was a next step. We had a follow up with the doctor the same day.
