Cycle # 4 and why cycle # 5 was put on hold

In our follow up meeting we discussed how I stopped responding to the oral medication and talked about moving into a little more of an aggressive approach in treatment which included using injections and a low dose of dexamethasone  (steroid) on top of the oral fertility medication and all the other medications still. (bromocrptine, synthroid, and all vitamins).

this picture was taken in September but is exactly what we did in June as well

 May 26, 2015 Cycle # 4
So in May we started a new journey on Cycle day 3 we had a baseline ultrasound and received my prescription for the .75 MG of femera and dexamethasone 2mg started taking them CD's 3-7 then stopped the femera and continued the dex until CD 12 where I had a follicle ultrasound to determine if I needed the injections sure enough no follicles they gave me one shot of Bravelle (FSH injection) and they rushed a perscription to Freedom Fertility Pharmancy and my Gonal-F (FSH injection my insurance wouldn't cover Bravelle) was shipped over night I started injections on CD 13 at 11:00am and continued them until CD 15 had another ultrasound at the Pleasant Grove office that day to check for follicles had a couple almost mature ones so the next day on CD 16 I gave myself one last shot of the Gonal-F early in the morning and then did the trigger shot (HCG to trigger ovulation) at 2:30pm. 24 hours later on CD 17 we had our first IUI after injections. Day on after IUI I started the progesterone two weeks later took the pregnancy test it was Negative. 6/6/2015

June 2015
We had a little follow up with our doctor once more to touch base she informed us that the sperm count of the last IUI was really low and that was the reason why it most likey didn't take with the low numbers we barley had a 5% chance. That was heartbreaking because like I said before when my body starts working Jeremy's stops. Its super frustrating. We knew we had to keep trying no matter how heartbroken we were no matter how much we wanted to give up. Its so hard to keep going, to keep hope when every month we try and try and nothing. But we didn't stop, we didn't give up instead our doctor ordered another semen anaysis the number came back really low again so we had to hold off on treatment for four to six weeks then we would do another SA.

All of June and half of July we just waited Jeremy watched what he ate, watched was he did like no hot tubs, hot baths ect... No Alcohol. He did all this already but we made sure there was no reason why his next SA would come back bad.

We took a small vacation the last week or July and begining of August. When we got home the next week Jeremy went in for his SA. The results came back normal we were good to start cycle # 5

September 20, 2015 Cycle # 5
On this cycle we started with a baseline ultrasound on CD 3, femera .75mg and the 2mg of Dex CD's 3-5 then on CD 8 I started .75 IU of Gonal-F did the injections CD 8-9 along with the Dex. Had the follicle ultrasound on CD 12 had two 14mm & 17mm did the HCG trigger shot CD13 and the IUI CD14 followed by the progestrone on CD 15 two week wait and that was it test was Negative. 10/6/15

During the baseline ultrasound with my doctor we talked about how if this cycle didn't work we would need to start talking about the next option which is IVF = In Vitro Fertilization. Since it didn't work we took the rest of the year off to get through the holidays.
